Q How has the LGBT community been treated by the criminal justice system (You may answer this question from entering the system, in the system, and life after conviction).
From several studies and researches, it has been understood that the LGBT community has not been treated in a proper and expected manner by the criminal justice system. Although there are several laws for supporting and accepting the LGBT community in the United States, still,, there are several incidents which clearly reflect the fact that criminal justice system is biased while dealing with LGBT community (McNamara & Burns, 2018).
